(This weeks message is from Matt. 26: 6-13, as well as others.)
In these verses we see two vastly different people. The faithfulness of Mary with the ointment, and the mindset of Judas. The disciples that complain about the value of the ointment, or nard, are using it as a pretense. Judas just wants his hands on the money. He can’t use it for influence, or steal it if it is poured out like this. On then other hand, This story of Mary’s devotion to the Christ is still being told two thousand years latter. She was never forgotten. Just like Jesus said.
