The story of the feeding of the 5,000 is followed by an equally powerful miracle of the walking on water. While both stories contained a brilliant display of the power Jesus had over the physical realm, the spiritual lessons we glean from the the back to back miracles is also significant. This Sunday, we will see how people today, just like the people 2,000 years ago, can sometimes get so worried in life that they fail to see when God is doing great works around us and through us and for us.
